J.D. Blackfoot

J.D. Blackfoot was created Benjamin Franklin Vehicle Dervort in Cleveland. The frontman for an Ohio music group known as the Ebb Tides (as Benny Vehicle), he re-formed the group around his name in 1969 and documented an individual for Mercury known as “Who’s Nut products Alfred.” The recording, THE BEST Prophecy, followed immediately after, which continues to be valued in prog/psych circles. Blackfoot continued to record the middle-’70s albums The Track of Crazy Equine and Southbound and Eliminated for Fantasy Information. In 1988, he began a new organization, Sisapa Information, which authorized and documented Marshall Tucker, Paul Natural cotton (Poco), and Crazy Equine, aswell as Blackfoot himself around the 1991 recording Tokala (a sequel towards the Track of Crazy Equine). Blackfoot continuing releasing albums through the ’90s and 2000s. In 2000, he released Co-Dependent Dysfunctional You, as well as the profession compilation Best Years adopted in 2002.
