Iwrestledabearonce

Existing at the main point where steel collides with all the genres, Iwrestledabearonce are a good example of the bold experimentation that is keeping steel fresh and thrilling. The Shreveport, Louisiana group, comprising Krysta Cameron (vocals), Stephen Bradley (electric guitar), John Ganey (electric guitar), Mike Montgomery (drums), and Dave Branch (bass), combines the spastic fury from the Locust, the mathematics wizardry from the Dillinger Get away Plan, as well as the metal-electro experimentation of Genghis Tron into one easy-to-swallow tablet. In 2007 the group released its bedroom-recorded self-titled EP. After intensive touring, Iwrestledabearonce agreed upon with Century Mass media and released their debut full-length, It’s All Taking place, in ’09 2009. That same season the band experienced some adjustments, relocating to Birmingham, Alabama and changing bassist Dave Branch with Mike Martin. In 2011 the music group released its follow-up, Ruining It for everybody. The following season, Cameron announced she was pregnant, and vocalist Courtney LaPlante was earned to displace her on tour; the session would ultimately become long lasting. LaPlante produced her documented debut in the band’s third record, Late for Nothing at all, in 2013. Darker and even more tech-heavy than prior outings, the band’s 4th studio room long-player, Hail Mary, decreased in the summertime of 2015.
