Biography

Given birth to in Wauchope, New South Wales, Australia, on, may 22, 1955, Iva Davies may be the last in an extended type of Welshmen. Regardless of the Welsh connection, he 1st attempted bagpipes before taking on oboe, which obtained him many scholarships to NSW Condition Conservatorium of Music. Just in 1989 following a decade’s support along with his mainstream rock-band Icehouse (efficiently a trading name for Davies) and dealing with, amongst others, Brian Eno, do his oboe attain him a variation, becoming a co-employee of Music Australia. Davies’ result outside Icehouse contains two ballet ratings, Containers (1985) and Berlin (1995), the soundtrack to video movie director Russell Mulcahy’s film, Razorback, as well as the millennium eve 40-minute rendition of his personal Great Southern Property. Performed at Sydney Opera Home, this is the centerpiece to a fresh function, a classically orientated arranged entitled The Ghost of your time. Lately Davies published Circles in the Sky for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Video games.
