Isang Yun

The soaring, impassioned Symphonies nos. 1 & 3 of Isang Yun result from the center of a guy persecuted with the paranoia from the condition “regulators” — functions created after he was double imprisoned by South Korean law enforcement on suspicion of espionage, also once getting kidnapped by them from European countries and forced back again to South Korea. (He’s, obviously, innocent of the “offences.”) Yun is certainly among our great new symphonists.
