Isaac Posch

As an organ constructor and organist, Posch worked in Carinthia from around 1614 and built organs in Carniola and Laibach. Being a composer Posch was essential in the introduction of the Baroque variant suite having constructed fifteen three motion functions in his 1618 quantity. Every one of the movements within this collection aswell as his 1621 quantity are personally exclusive and in the last mentioned collection he mixed five-part pavans with galliards. Posch’s “Cantiones sacrae” contains 44 concertos for different vocal configurations for five voices. Five of the songs had been also established for obligato instrumentation.
