Iron Man

Biography

Just like you couldn’t figure, Gaithersburg, MD’s Iron Guy started out being a Dark Sabbath cover music group, which ultimately began composing original materials inspired largely with the doomy noises of large metal’s founding heroes. With guitarist Alfred Morris III ever on the helm, Iron Guy parlayed several demos dating back again to 1987 right into a record cope with Hellhound Information, which continued release a the band’s debut full-length, Dark Evening, in 1993. This record saw Morris backed by vocalist Rob Levey, drummer Ron Kalimon, and bassist Larry Dark brown, but just the latter continued to be with the discharge of the next year’s sophomore disk, The Passing, which introduced brand-new vocalist Dan Michalak and drummer Gary Isom. Neither record do much to tell apart the band inside the underground doom picture, regardless, and Iron Guy would maintain a fairly low profile before — and after — finally unleashing their third opus, Era Void, in 1999.
