Irepress

Created in Boston, MA, Irepress join the post-rock, progressive hardcore, metal-gaze (consider your choose) legions of the first 2000s, getting an all-instrumental, rhythmically jazz-oriented nuance towards the genre’s open-ended, atmospherically complex template, as described by famous brands Isis, Pelican and Mouth area from the Architect. The music group is made up of Jon DiNapoli (acoustic guitar), Bret Silverberg (acoustic guitar), Sheel Dave (drums, percussion), Shan Dave (bass), and Jarrett Band (keyboards), and adopted a 2003 EP entitled Trilogy with 2005’s full-length Samus Octology. The second option was re-released 2 yrs later on by Translation Reduction Recordings, at the same time when Irepress’ lineup is at circumstances of flux, and their continuing existence relatively in doubt.
