Insomnius Dei

An Australian ambient doom steel task headed by former The Eternal vocalist and guitarist Tag Kelson, InSomnius Dei drew evaluations as far reaching as Green Floyd blended with experimental loss of life steel and doom. Choosing to broaden the music group for InSomnius Dei’s debut full-length, Kelson recruited fellow Melbourne steel veterans Terry Vainoras (of Broken, Globe, Canonero, and Cryptal Darkness) and Adam Hunt (from the Eternal) to include some muscles to the task, and having currently worked with both in previous tasks (Eternal and Cryptal Darkness — a task which also noticed Mark Kelson like a collaborator) the brand new trio gelled quickly. The producing recording, Illusions of Silence, was finally released on Firebox Information in past due 2007.
