Since self-releasing their vinyl fabric LP We Are Strange Loops this year 2010, N.Con.C.-centered duo Innergaze garnered crucial acclaim and a dynamic following for his or her hallucinatory analog sound adventures and solid visual concert events. Being truly a musical cooperation aswell as companions, Jason Letkiewicz (aka Steve Summers, Manhunter) and video designer Aurora Halal developed the hazy and psychedelic home 12” “Darkness Disco” for the Not really Not really Fun offshoot dance label 100% Silk in 2011. The name track was seen as a upcoming left-field disco traditional using its kaleidoscopic and uneasy home rhythms. Drawing affects from Detroit techno, Chicago home, and early-’80s electro, industrial, and Italo, the set used mainly analog synthesizers and drum devices to generate their organic and futuristic audio. In 2012 they released a “minimal synth” record for Veronica Vasicka’s Minimal Influx sub label Cititrax, entitled Shared Dreaming.
