Pairing shoegazer swirl with heavy indie rock and roll fuzz, Infinite Body system quickly became a darling from the underground press and festival crowds because of its unearthly noises. Kyle Parker initial found musical attention within the middle-2000s experimental troupe Gator Shock. As a single act, he followed the appropriate alter ego Infinite Body and silently slipped his self-distributed debut, Light Hymn. He released some cassettes and LPs before his 2010 breakthrough, Carve Out the facial skin of My God, gained a lofty 8.2 ranking in the tastemakers of Pitchfork Media. Parker also made a mix at that year’s South by Southwest celebration in Austin, TX.
