Multi-instrumentalist Loren Nerell may be the face in back of the atmospheric grooves of Indonesian Soundscapes. Especially keen on the gamelan music of Bali and Java, Nerell composes a carefree audio that combines character and vocalic chants thrust in space. Indonesian Soundscapes was released on Soleil Moon in 1999.
