Indica

The Finnish all-girl suomirock group Indica formed in 2002 with teenagers Johanna “Jonsu” Salomaa, Heini, Sirkku, Jenny, and Laura. Performing in Finnish and forging an available pop audio with witchy, goth rock and roll sensibilities, girls caught the interest of Sony BMG’s Jani Jalonen in 2003. Indica’s debut recording on that label, Ikuinen Virta, strike stores in the summertime of 2004 and finally proceeded to go platinum in Finland. Their sophomore work, Tuuliset Tienoot, arrived one year later on, and another recording, Kadonnut Puutarha, adopted in 2007.
