In the Summer of the Mushroom Honey

In the summertime from the Mushroom Honey are an outfit made up of people of late-twentieth-century midwestern bands Faraday Cage, Tombstone Valentine, Many Bright Things, and Ibid, among other music artists. In Apr 1998, they documented their self-titled recording of psychedelic-oriented improvisational music reside in the studio room in one day time. The record, diffuse and varied, employs a complete of ten music artists on various devices (mostly acoustic guitar), differing from repetitious groove jams to folky interludes to prolonged pieces incorporating mixture sung/chanted vocals. A coating of jammy mysticism hovers on the proceedings.
