Born from your ashes of psychedelic pop geniuses Jellyfish, Imperial Pull released an individual eponymous recording through the task Group in 1996. Featuring vocalist and guitarist Eric Dover (new off a stint fronting Slash’s Snakepit), key pad participant Roger Manning, bassist Joseph Karnes, and drummer Eric Skodis, the music group lacked only 1 critical ingredient to reproduce the earning Jellyfish method: drummer, vocalist, and primary songwriter Andy Sturmer. Furthermore, their unorthodox retro-rock design and brazenly glamorized imaging didn’t help issues either, failing woefully to endear the music group using the flannel-wearing, grunge-obsessed rock and roll audience from the mid-’90s. Quite simply, there was to become no triumph of design over substance right here, and both music group and album quickly sank with out a trace.
