Biography
Powered by an affinity for graphic violence, porn, and federal government conspiracy theories, Sick Costs (William Braunstein) is most beneficial referred to as the founder and frontman of four-man underground rap group No Phixion. Due to the group’s racy subject material, Non Phixion continuously found themselves jumping from label to label through the past due ’90s, despite acclaimed 12″ singles like I Shot Reagan and Dark Helicopter (both made by Sick Bill’s sibling Necro). Sick Bill had to determine the 3rd party Uncle Howie Information prior to the Brooklyn-based staff could finally concern its debut record, The Future IS CURRENTLY, in 2002. Through his label, the hardcore MC/manufacturer initiated his single career along with his initial album, What’s Incorrect with Costs? (2004), in addition to with some Sick Bill May be the Potential mixtapes. But after Non Phixion officially split up in 2006, he also oversaw and pressed solo materials by NP people DJ Eclipse and Sabac Crimson. 2 yrs before his second full-length, The Hour of Reprisal, found its way to 2008, Sick Expenses co-founded La Coka Nostra, a collective that also contains DJ Muggs and users of Home of Pain, amongst others.
