Il Baricentro

Natives of Bari, Italy, the brothers Giovanni and Francesco Boccuzzi, and bassist Tonio Napoletano initial came to take note as people of Festa Portable, a jazz rock and roll quintet whose only record, the ambitious idea Dario Di Vaggio Della Festa Portable was issued by RCA in 1973. Pursuing that group’s collapse afterwards that same season, the trio recruited drummer Piero Mangini and released Il Baricentro, a likewise jazz-inclined clothing who lower two albums for EMI. 1976’s Sconcerto and 1978’s Trusciuant are both suggested to enthusiasts of Weather Record and Chic Corea.
