Originally members from the band Path 66, Henry Engel (bass, vocals), Everett Laroi (guitar, vocals), Ian Martin (guitar) and Craig Metcalfe (drums, percussion) formed Idyl Tea in the first ’80s. After a 1986 EP known as How I Discover This Desk, the music group released their self-titled debut in 1990.
