Icon for Hire

Icon for Hire are an anthemic, guitar-based rock-band from Illinois. Created in Decatur in 2007, Icon for Hire feature vocalist Ariel Bloomer, guitarist Shawn Leap, bassist Josh Kincheloe, and drummer Adam Kronshagen. Although they don’t contact themselves a Christian rock-band, much like their affects U2 and Paramore, a lot of their tunes deal with religious styles. Between 2007 and 2009, the music group released two EPs and toured a lot of the Midwest, creating a faithful fan following on the way. They released their debut full-length recording, Scripted, on Teeth & Nail Information in 2011. In 2013, Icon for Hire came back using their self-titled sophomore recording on Teeth & Toenail, which debuted at quantity 66 in the Billboard 200 and highlighted the one “Cynics & Critics.” Citing innovative, ideological, and specialized differences, they still left Tooth & Toe nail in 2015 and create a Kickstarter finance to energy their upcoming 4th studio room long-player. The ensuing You Can’t Wipe out Us premiered independently the next year.
