Icky Blossoms

Icky Blossoms’ mix of brooding synthesizers, danceable drums, and self-assured melodies are as pleasant for the dancefloor because they are at the fitness center. The band shaped in Omaha, Nebraska in 2011, combining singer/synth participant Sarah Bohling and vocalist/multi-instrumentalists Derek Pressnall and Nik Fackler (who indie film enthusiasts may understand as director from the 3rd party Nature nominated Lovely, Still), who became acquainted through the Omaha arts picture and Pressnall’s part music group from Tilly as well as the Wall structure, Blossoms Forever. By early 2012, Icky Blossoms authorized to Saddle Creek, who released the band’s personal entitled, full-length debut that July. Made by Television on the air multi-instrumentalist Dave Sitek, the recording presented “Babes,” which Rolling Rock referred to as a “girl-power dance anthem.” Documenting at ARC Studios in Omaha, they caused collaborator Mike Mogis to provide their follow-up LP Face mask which found its way to May 2015.
