Norway’s economically called I is normally a supergroup made up of several veterans from the neighborhood extreme metal picture: vocalist/guitarist Olve Eikemo (aka Abbath, of Immortal popularity), business lead guitarist Glaciers Dale (aka Arve Isdal, of Enslaved), bassist Tom Cato Visnes (aka T.C. Ruler of Gorgoroth), and unique Immortal people Armagedda (drums) and Demonaz (lyrics). Collectively, this amazing lineup documented 2006’s Between Two Worlds recording, the name reflecting its material’ unusual mix of black metallic and straight-up rock and roll & roll.
