I Nine

Hailing from central SC, the female-fronted pop/rock and roll quintet I Nine 1st made an appearance in 2005, having received an individual invitation from screenwriter/movie director Cameron Crowe to seem on the film soundtrack for Elizabethtown. The fresh-faced music group — made up of vocalist Carmen Keigans, cellist/guitarist Bryan Gibson, guitarist Brian Whitman, and bassist Matt Heath — got formed twelve months prior in Orangeburg, a sleepy city whose scant human population needed I Nine to try out the majority of their early gigs in close by Columbia. Wanting to go after their art in a far more metropolitan environment, the quintet quickly relocated to Atlanta, GA, where they added to the Elizabethtown soundtrack and released their Live EP in 2005. 2 yrs later on, I Nine released the air single “A WEEK of Unhappy” to drum up support for his or her impending full-length debut, Weighty Weighs the Ruler, scheduled for nationwide launch in 2008.
