I Califfi

The initial I Califfi formed in Florence, Italy, in 1966, a pounding defeat music group whose membership included future Area guitarist Paolo Tofani and drummer Carlo Felice Marcovecchio, afterwards of Campo di Marte. Throughout their five years jointly, the music group released a string of a minimum of 11 singles in Italy, and also a self-titled record, but divide in 1971. The next season, bassist Franco Boldrini pieced jointly a fresh line-up around himself, sibling Maurizio Boldrini (drums), Vincenzo Amadei (electric guitar, vocals) and Sandro Cinotti (keyboards). Eschewing the now-outdated noises that I Califfi was originally renowned, this brand-new edition was rooted in moog-heavy intensifying rock and roll and, in 1973, released the record Fiore di Metallo. Unfortunately it did small; intriguingly, however, many of the album’s tracks would subsequently end up being covered (with brand-new British lyrics) by previous I Califfi guitarist Tofani for addition on his Electric powered Frankenstein record.
