I AM THEY

Modern Christian music music group I AM These are located in Nashville and made up of vocalist/guitarist Matthew Hein, vocalist/harmonium participant Abbie Parker, vocalist/guitarist Jon McConnell, keyboardist Justin Shinn, and drummer Sara Palmer. Their music mixes upbeat pop music, Americana-influenced instrumentation, and lyrics that concentrate on styles of Christian trust and redemption. I AM THEY created in Carson Town, Nevada in 2008. They performed numerous churches in the region as Solomon’s Porch, changing their name to I AM THEY — a mention of a passing in the brand new Testament — in ’09 2009. I AM THEY authorized to Provident GROUP in 2013 and released their self-titled debut LP on Necessary Information in 2015. The recording earned the music group a Dove Award nomination for New Designer of the entire year and reached quantity ten on Billboard’s Best Christian Albums graph.
