I Am the World Trade Center

Acquiring more of a nontraditional approach to composing and producing their very own songs, the brand new York two part I Am the planet Trade Centre (named ahead of 9/11) records almost all their samples and loops on laptop. Together with Amy Dykes’ melodic vocals, the music group provides props to St. Etienne, the Rock Roses, Fatboy Slim and Cornershop as main inspirations with their sound, which can be noticed on their documenting debut (the Xmas Two compilation, thanks to Kindercore Information). From the Loop, the duo’s correct debut record, was released in summertime 2001 and their follow-up Tight Connection made an appearance in 2002. 2 yrs later, the music group recorded The HIDE, but while touring the East Coastline to get the record and three weeks timid of its discharge date, Dykes dropped sick with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I Am the planet Trade Center instantly continued hiatus so Dykes will make an effective recovery.
