Modern Christian pop group Hyland were shaped in Minneapolis, Minnesota, led by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Jon Lewis along with guitarists Matt Lennander and Tim Neff, bassist Lee Carter, and drummer Steve Weigel. Hyland performed locally and grew their local fan base for a long time before gaining plenty of steam to go on a nationwide tour, however they were able to self-release two EPs between 2008 and 2009, Polyphonic Telegraph #1 and Quotients. This year 2010, their momentum led these to a record cope with long-running Christian indie label Teeth & Toe nail, and by 2011 the music group released its correct debut record, Weights & Procedures. The floodgates of touring and publicity opened at this time, and the music group embarked on multiple travels aswell as cycled through some lineup adjustments. By 2012, a fresh configuration from the music group was set up, with Ben Early becoming involved on keyboards and support vocals and Neff, Carter, and Lennander shifting, changed by guitarist Mitch Hansen and bassist Josiah Erickson. The brand new edition of Hyland got to the street and eventually returned with sophomore record Finding Our Method in Oct of 2012.
