Hyena Motorcade

Focusing on a heady and melodic mixture of post-punk, new wave/no wave, and serpentine, blues-kissed alt-pop, Western Coast indie rockers Hyena Motorcade created in Orange County, California in the summertime of 2009 round the talents of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Ric Kaley, guitarist Tag Allen, bass player Art Agunod, and drummer Alberto Campos. Sketching inspiration from performers like Bauhaus, David Bowie, Echo & the Bunnymen, Sisters of Mercy, and Pleasure Department, the group released a three-song EP soon after forming, accompanied by a four-song EP in 2013. As the group obtained regional reputation they began helping acts just like the Fixx, Contemporary British, and Bow Wow Wow, aswell as headlining their very own displays. In 2014 they announced programs to record their full-length debut, that was to be made by Psychedelic Furs guitarist John Ashton.
