As bassist in Philadelphia music group Everyone Everywhere, Matthew Scottoline didn’t get very much possibility to sing or write music. Rather, he spent his leisure time composing and recording music by himself, delving additional into power pop and ’90s electric guitar rock and roll than his primary band ever do. He called the project Rush and it held his innovative energy flowing within the decade he previously in the music group. In 2012, he released an eight-song self-titled record beneath the Rush name, playing all of the equipment himself. When Everyone All over the place began to scale back on their timetable in the first 2010s, Scottoline made a decision to form a genuine music group, recruiting drummer Rob DeCarolis and a spinning cadre of close friends on bass to try out concert events. The lineup solidified around DeCarolis on drums and his sibling Joe on bass, plus they documented their debut recording. Everything/Nothing premiered in past due 2014 by Popular Green Information. They arrived following on Lame-O Information’ six-band EP Power in Weakness, adding the music “Tremble It Off,” before moving out on tour later on in the entire year with fellow ’90s revivalists Yuck.
