Indiana-based duo Hunterchild make dark, natural, and sexy R&B-influenced digital pop music. Featuring the skills of vocalist/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Luke Aaron Jones and keyboardist/percussionist Marty Sprowles, Hunterchild created around 2013 following the duo’s earlier band, Dreamers from the Ghetto, abruptly known as it quits. The separation, which also led to a divorce between Jones and Dreamers keyboardist Lauren Jones, planted the seed products for Hunterchild’s deeply psychological yet stripped-down digital spirit sound. Hunterchild released their debut self-titled recording on Temporary Home in 2014.
