Hunter Moore

Vocalist/songwriter Hunter Moore focuses on country-flavored modern folk with significant blues and bluegrass affects. His music are rooted in his southeastern Missouri history. Moore was raised within a rural city encircled on three edges with the mighty Mississippi River and his lyrics are therefore dominated by tales of small city life. Being a lyricist, he attracts liberally from literary affects offering Southerners like Peter Taylor and Walker Percy. Moore’s job application includes a decade of songwriting focus on Nashville’s Music Row. His music have been documented by Ricky Scaggs, Alabama, and Kathy Mattea. His separately released single debut, Departure, made an appearance in 1992. Four years afterwards in 1996, Moore’s follow-up work Delta Moon was found by Tangible Information.
