Hummer

The illustrious Ron Hawkins, of Lowest of the reduced and Rusty Nails fame, teamed up with former Drill down Circus members Tag Hansen (drums and vocals), Dave Mackinnon (vocals and guitars), and Brian Poirier (guitars and vocals) along with Dan Kurtz (bass) to create Hummer in 1995. They documented Electrically Operated Item in 1995, that was learned in the springtime of 1997, and lastly released afterwards that same season. The band documented the record in the lo-fi style that supporters of Drill down Circus acquired become familiar with. Two associates of Hummer, Dave Mackinnon and Brian Poirier constitute the Fembots and Tag Hansen may be the drummer for Ron Hawkins as well as the Rusty Fingernails.
