Eclectic art pop group Human being Radio was shaped in Memphis in 1989 by frontman Ross Grain; putting your signature on to Columbia, in 1990 they released their self-titled debut recording, scoring a strike with “Me and Elvis.” Upon shifting to Nashville, Human being Radio opted from the Columbia agreement, flirting with additional labels and documenting a batch of fresh demos before dissolving within the wake of the disheartening industry display gig. In 1997, Grain issued his single debut, Umpteen.
