Brooklyn, NY’s Hull initial came to open public awareness using a 2007 EP called Viking Funeral, which boasted an individual, 17-minute tune (in two parts) showcasing an array of styles which range from doom, to sludge to post-hardcore to crust-core. This gained them a cope with The End Information, at which period curiously entitled bandmembers Rev. A. Mack, Rev. J. Stieber, Rev. C. Laietta V, Rev. N. Palmirotto, and Rev. S.B. Dunn started focusing on an album-length extrapolation of the affects, duly released in ’09 2009 as Singular Lord.
