Hovercraft

The atmospheric instrumental music group Hovercraft formed in Seattle in the first ’90s when guitarist Ryan (aka Campbell 2000) and bassist Beth Liebling (Sadie 7) met within an anatomy research course for surgical college students. Founded as a primary a reaction to the dominance of the region grunge picture, Hovercraft instead preferred extended, moody avant compositions; following a single independently Repellent label gained acclaim, the group started executing publicly, marrying its music to some film montages projected on the trunk from the stage. In 1995, Hovercraft recognized a slot starting for Mike Watt’s U.S. tour; signing up for the group on drums was Eddie Vedder, better referred to as the vocalist for Pearl Jam and in addition Beth’s husband. The next year, the music group released a self-titled 10″; the full-length Akathisia, documented with drummer Dave (aka Karl 3-30), implemented in 1997, along with a year afterwards Hovercraft resurfaced with Experimental Below.
