Houston Jones

Houston Jones will be the brainchild of Louisiana local Travis Jones and multi-instrumentalist Glenn Houston, two solid grassroots music artists who became fast friends on the 2001 Strawberry Music Celebration. Ahead of that, Jones was a vocalist/songwriter whose extreme Hank Williams, Sr. impersonation gained him the business lead role within the musical edition from the songwriter’s existence, Lost Highway. In the mean time, Houston was a fresh Jersey guitarist having a penchant for the blues, a genre that helped him create a pursuing in San Francisco’s Bay Region. Combining their causes, the two music artists began combining their influences right into a origins mixture that jumped from genre to genre, with just the normal thread of Americana linking a lot of their tunes. Houston Jones documented their eponymous debut in early 2002 within the Summerhill Records tabs; the album showed up that fall.
