Hour of Penance

A self-described “brutal” loss of life metal music group from Rome, Italy, Hour of Penance formed in 1999. Affected at first with a combination of dark and loss of life metallic, Hour of Penance would quickly move from those designs, and — affected by Cannibal Corpse — decide on a more in advance and pummeling specialized loss of life metal design. Their 1st demo strike the picture in 2000, and was accompanied by their 1st recording, Disruption, in 2003. By this time around that they had laid the groundwork by playing the Swedish loss of life metal event at Gothenburg and authorized with Spanish label Xtreem. A well-received work, Disturbance was accompanied by the recording Pageantry for Martyrs in 2005, which earned the music group some scene honours. Hour did need to proceed through some lineup adjustments in their period, but they ultimately resolved on Francesco Paoli on vocals, Giulio Moschini on acoustic guitar, Silvano Leone on bass, and Mauro Mercurio on drums. The Vile Conception, Hour of Penance’s third recording, premiered in 2008. Following LPs Paradogma (2010), Sedition (2012), and Regicide (2014) noticed the music group carrying on to hone their chops both in the studio room and on the highway, however the period also became one of main personnel adjustments. By 2015, there have been no original people left within the music group, with guitarist Moschini, that has been using the group since 2004, performing as the utmost older member. In 2017 the group released a fresh studio recording, Cast the very first Stone, which presented a lineup comprising Moschini, bassist Marco Mastrobuono, guitarist/vocalist Paolo Pieri, and drummer Davide Billia.
