Honeyhoney may be the jazzy, twangy, rollicking cooperation between vocalist Suzanne Santo and guitarist Ben Jaffe. Ahead of becoming a member of the duo, Jaffe documented music for Television and film; then fulfilled Santo (an celebrity whose réamounté included stints on Legislation & Purchase and Blind Justice) through a shared friend, who required Jaffe to find out among Santo’s single gigs. Both began holding casual songwriting classes and soon found out a musical collaboration. Implementing the name honeyhoney, in addition they discovered an early on supporter in Kiefer Sutherland, who authorized the music group to Ironworks Music, a label he co-owned with musician Jude Cole. Honeyhoney produced their studio room debut by issuing the Loose Shoes EP in early 2008; the music artists then hit the street with Lifehouse (another band around the Ironworks roster) while obtaining time to focus on their debut recording. First Rodeo premiered later that season, featuring varied affects that ranged from crossover jazz to neo-soul to participating alt-country. Raymond Richards of Regional Natives created Honeyhoney’s sophomore work, Billy Jack port, which found its way to October 2011 in the group’s very own honeyhoney imprint, written by Shed Highway. The duo following signed a documenting contract using the esteemed root base music label Rounder Information, and their third record, made by Dave Cobb and titled 3, made an appearance in Apr 2015.
