Homeshake

Homeshake is a Montreal-based indie pop task helmed by vocalist/songwriter Peter Sagar, and featuring efforts by Tag Goetz, Greg Napier, and Brad Loughead. Homeshake’s tracks are stripped down and sensual, frequently inspired by simple spirit and R&B but using a lo-fi, home-recorded visual. Sagar began saving and digitally launching Homeshake tracks in 2012, and Fixture Information released his debut cassette, The Homeshake Tape, in early 2013. Sagar spent a lot of that season touring and playing electric guitar with Macintosh DeMarco, aswell as focusing on brand-new material. A short mixtape called Active Meditation, which highlighted a ten-minute montage of brand-new songs in the A-side and the complete montage performed backwards in the B-side, premiered in Oct of 2013 by Poor Stars Inc. Homeshake’s debut record, In the Shower, documented at Montreal’s Drones Membership, made an appearance on Sinderlyn in 2014. Sagar came back towards the Drones Membership to record Homeshake’s second correct album, the greater electronic LATE NIGHT SNACK, that was released in 2015. Carrying on within this direction, OXYGEN implemented in 2017.
