Chicago indie band Hollows began in ’09 2009 when bassist Emma Hospelhorn answered an increase Craigslist posted by area keyboardist/vocalist Maria Jenkins. Jenkins have been playing with region music group Parsley Flakes and was composing tunes that didn’t quite match her present music group. The two met up and done the lineup using the inclusion of region drummer Shane Lobotomy and guitarist Megan Kasten. The group quickly started playing regionally and quickly finished their 2009 self-titled recording. They gained high praise for his or her girl group audio using a sinister aspect and were ultimately contained in the Chicago Tribune’s “Eleven Rings to view in 2011″ content. The group stated goodbye to Lobotomy in 2011, changing him with Jason Davlantes, and finally completing their lineup by adding percussionist and tranquility vocalist Hannah Harris. The music group issued several 7” singles on regional brands before arriving with second record Vulture in 2012. With the brand new album, Hollows acquired developed their audio dramatically using the inclusion of complicated harmonies and subtle chamber pop details.
