Among the rings most interesting features may be the usage of the hammered dulcimer by John Rittenhouse, who’s also the rings lead vocalist. He began playing the hammered dulcimer in 1993, due to hearing it performed in Smoky Hill Hymns.He thought it took bluegrass inside a different path, thus he taught himself how exactly to play the device. John Rittenhouse is usually became a member of by his sister, Eunice Landis on tempo acoustic guitar and mandolin, that has been playing since 1991.In 1992 Paul Great and Steve Rivera joined up with the band.Paul Great brings his business lead guitar skills to Hilltop Information, and Steve Rivera, an area music teacher, takes on banjo and mandolin.
