High Priest

After the genre-challenging, independent rap picture got underway in the later ’90s, High Priest’s avant-garde hip-hop trio Antipop Consortium further pressed that envelop, mixing glitch and IDM to their b-boy postures. Great Priest, Coffee beans, and M. Sayyid obtained a significant pursuing touring with famous brands Radiohead and DJ Darkness before they finished up heading their separate methods in 2002. Nevertheless, Great Priest briefly teamed up with M. Sayyid a couple of years later to create Airborn Sound, releasing Great Fortunes for the indie label Ninja Listen in early 2005. Great Priest do record some single 12″ information for Sound-Ink through the Airborn Sound stint, but his standard album debut, Delivered Identity, didn’t arrive until Feb 2007. For the tune “Keep Period” through the LP, he collaborated with users of experimental rock and roll group Television on the air.
