Hidden in Plain View

Hidden in Ordinary View originally contains vocalist Joe Reo, guitarists Rob Freeman and Kenny Ryan, bassist Chris Amato, and drummer Derek Reilly. Developing out of senior high school, the New Shirt combo gigged regionally before debuting on polish with 2001’s Discover EP on DAB Information; drummer Jay Snyder agreed upon on for June 2002’s self-released Procedure: Cut-Throat LP. The record did sufficiently to get the eye of West Coastline punk-pop powerhouse Drive-Thru, which authorized Hidden in Simple Look at in early 2003. In the mean time, Ryan had remaining the group by the finish of 2002 to co-found Houston Phone calls, and he was quickly changed by Mike Saffert. The band’s 1st launch for the label was a self-titled EP documented using Early November helmer Chris Badami; when saving covered, Snyder exited and drummer Spencer Peterson arrived up to speed. The EP was accompanied by the full-length Existence in Thinking in early 2005 and considerable touring within the spring of this yr. In early 2007, following the conclusion of their follow-up recording, Hidden in Simple View known as it quits, citing innovative variations. Drive-Thru posthumously released the record, entitled Quality, that July. In 2013, Hidden in Simple View reunited for any live display in Philadelphia. THE PET EP adopted in 2015, as do a tour celebrating the tenth anniversary of the debut album.
