Hestina are an indie folk group from New Orleans led by Michelle Ausman and Kimberly Vice. Both initially formed like a duo in 2014 beneath the name Sirens, liberating their debut record, Blossom Chat, on the city Records label. Using their sparse mixture of smoky harmonies and percussive ukulele balladry, Ausman and Vice ultimately caught the interest of Los Angeles-based indie Fall Tone Information, and after changing their name to Hestina, celebrated the nationwide re-release of Blossom Speak in early 2016.
