Herrmann und Kleine

Thaddi Herrmann (ex-Sonic Subjunkies) and Christian Kleine have already been working jointly since 1999, joining makes to produce one of the most introspective and emotional music that either continues to be associated with. With affects which range from hip-hop to synth pop towards the blurry atmospherics of early ’90s shoegaze rings like Slowdive and Pale Saints, both make tracks that are as well pop to become strictly grouped as IDM. 1999 noticed the release from the Transalpin EP on Herrmann’s Berlin-based Town Center Offices label. In 2000, the duo became a member of up with Morr Music for The Kickboard Lady EP. In the mean time, Kleine continued focusing on his single tasks while Herrmann continuing his editorial responsibilities with de:insect, probably the most prominent German publication dedicated to digital music. Our Sound, the duo’s solid debut LP, was released on Morr in 2002.
