Heroic Doses

Arriving together in January of 1997, the Chicago-based Heroic Doses could possibly be regarded as an indie supergroup of types. Made up of Five Style guitarist and American Regular vocalist Expenses Dolan, Euphone drummer Ryan Rapsys along with a string of bass players, the music group toured endlessly to record their self-titled debut recording. The record premiered in June of 1998 on Sub Pop information. Initially, Dolan and Rapsys had been became a member of by such bass players because the Jesus Lizard’s David Wm. Sims and friend Kurt Niesman. Nevertheless, if they stepped in to the studio room to record their ’98 discharge Heroic Dosages, the music group received the help of C-Clamp bassist Nick Macri. Macri performed on seven from the 13 mainly instrumental music, while Dolan and Rapsys finished the others. Matt Lux provides since changed Macri on bass.
