The French composer was students of both Dubois and Masanet. His opera “Elaine” was a significant achievement. Bemberg’s cantata “La Mort de Jeanne d’Arc” (The Loss of life of Joan of Arc) as well as the comic opera “Le Baiser de Suzon” and a corpus of several songs helped to determine him in the history of music background.
