Heribert Beissel

Heribert Beissel is a German choral and orchestral conductor whose huge repertoire extends from Baroque to early contemporary music. He went to the Cologne University of Music, learning performing with Günter Wand and piano and structure with Frank Martin, acquiring violin as a second subject. Starting his career mainly as an opera conductor in Bonn, Beissel also caused the WDR Cologne being a chamber musician and accompanist. For 14 years, Beissel executed the Hamburg Symphony and caused the Hamburg Opera. Beissel founded the Chur Cologne Choir in Bonn, which provided a cappella concerts and performed bigger functions for choir and orchestra using the Chur Cologne Orchestra, afterwards renamed the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn. Beissel in addition has executed the Hamburg Symphony, the Folkwang Chamber Orchestra, the Halle Condition Philharmonic Orchestra, the Condition Youngsters Orchestra of Saxony-Anhalt, as well as the Brandenburg Condition Orchestra in Frankfurt.
