Henry Whitter

Guitarist and harmonica participant Henry Whitter was co-billed with G.B. Grayson on some popular hillbilly edges documented for Victor through the past due ’20s. Blessed in 1892, he was among the initial folk/countryfigures to utilize the harmonica rack enabling musicians to concurrently play electric guitar and harmonica. One of the music that Grayson and Whitter produced popular had been “Tom Dooley,” “The Banking institutions from the Ohio,” “Teach 45,” and “Good-looking Molly.” After Grayson was wiped out in 1930, Whitter seldom performed and he passed away in 1941.
