Henry Santos

Most widely known for his tenure being a vocalist and songwriter in the bachata supergroup Aventura, Henry Santos is a Dominican vocalist from NEW YORK who produced his solo record debut in 2011. Blessed Henry Santos Jeter on Dec 15, 1979, in Moca, Dominican Republic, he transferred with his family members towards the Bronx at age group 14. He’s the cousin of bachata superstar Romeo Santos, with whom he co-founded Aventura in 1994. Originally referred to as “Los Tinellers,” the group produced its full-length record debut with Trampa de Amor in 1995. They broke to worldwide success using the smash strike single “Obsesión” off their third record, We Broke the guidelines (2002). Aventura’s stateside achievement was raised by “Ella con Yo,” a cooperation with reggaetoñero Don Omar off their 5th studio record, God’s Task (2005). It had been the to begin Aventura’s ten direct Top Ten strikes over the Billboard Sizzling hot Latin Music singles graph. After nine albums — six studio room and three live initiatives — Aventura announced their parting in 2011. Afterwards that calendar year, both Romeo and Henry Santos released single albums, Formulation, Vol. 1 and Presenting Henry Santos, respectively. Though overshadowed by Romeo’s chart-topping single debut, Henry’s full-length debut work was a significant success nonetheless, over the exotic charts specifically, spawning the strike singles “Poquito a Poquito” and “Por Nada.”
