Henry Bridges

b. c.1908, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. Bridges performed tenor saxophone in a variety of territory rings in the Midwest in the past due 20s and early 30s. Best-known of the rings was that led by Alphonso Trent, and he also frequently worked well alongside Charlie Christian. In 1939 Bridges became a member of Harlan Leonard’s Rockets but his profession was interrupted by armed service service, and he played frequently around Los Angeles and in addition visited European countries, but made hardly any effect in either area.
