Henk Neven

Henk Neven is a versatile Dutch baritone who divides his shows among opera, oratorio, and lieder, and in each world he offers achieved notable achievement. Neven spent some time working with such conductors as Daniel Barenboim, Edo de Waart, Christophe Rousset, Armin Jordan, and Marc Minkowski. Henk Neven was created in 1976 in the Rotterdam suburb of Krimpen aan den Ijssel, Netherlands. He sang in his years as a child and teenagers and continued to study in the Amsterdam Conservatory, where his educators included Maarten Koningsberger and Margreet Honig. In 2002 Neven received a diploma through the conservatory’s New Opera Academy and he graduated cum laude through the Conservatory the next year. He continuing studies through expert classes with Hartmut Höll, Jard vehicle Nes, Graham Johnson, and Graham Clark. He still works together with Margreet Honig and with Robert Holl. Neven was frequently showing up in concerts actually during his college student years.
